The "Foose Coupe" a.k.a. "Hemisfear" (green car) is a limited production car (50) that was displayed on the Roush stand with a lot of Roush high performance engines. The glass roof and engine cover make it very open and inviting. Also love the velocity stack intakes. Price $300,000. Youtube video:

The Ariel Atom (silver tubular frame car) is like a formula one car for the street. Apparently they have been registered in a number of states already. Jay Leno is a fan and owns car serial number 1. Emissions are no problem as it uses a standard General Motors 4 cylinder Ecotec engine. What you see is what you get - there is no body other than what you see in the photo. Claimed performance is hard to believe: 0 to 100mph and back to 0 in 10.88 seconds (0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds)!!
Price starts at about $50,000 for this fast toy.

The Ford GTX1 (orange) is my favorite of these 3 cars. Unfortunately it's rather expensive. The base car (Ford GT) costs about $160,000 and the conversion to an open top car costs $48,000. BBC Top Gear video (this is a must see) : More info: http://www.gtx1.com/ |
